Templar’s Gear Admin Panel Astrolabe GEN2, Smartphone/GPS Pocket - M05
The Templar’s Gear Admin Panel Astrolabe GEN2 is a lightweight and low-profile admin pocket designed for mounting a smartphone, GPS device or other compatible terminal device on a MOLLE/PALS-equipped plate carrier or chest rig.
The clamshell-style construction protects the device while keeping it easily accessible. The adjustable opening angle allows the screen to be positioned for a practical viewing angle without removing the device from the pocket.
A Fidlock magnetic buckle enables quick opening and secure closing, including when wearing gloves. Inside the pocket, hook-and-loop surfaces and an elastic retention cord help keep the device securely in place.
Secure and adjustable device mounting
The included self-adhesive hook-and-loop panel can be attached to the back of the device or its protective case. This allows the device to be secured to the internal hook-and-loop surface while the elastic cord provides additional retention.
The opening angle can be adjusted to suit the user and the mounted device. This makes it easier to view maps, navigation applications and other information while the panel remains attached to the equipment.
MOLLE/PALS-compatible construction
The Admin Panel Astrolabe GEN2 attaches to four PALS columns. Its low-profile construction keeps the device close to the equipment and helps reduce unnecessary bulk on the front of a plate carrier or chest rig.
The external hook-and-loop surface can be used for compatible identification patches, insignia or other hook-backed accessories. Additional MOLLE/PALS attachment points provide space for compatible equipment.
Durable lightweight materials
The pocket is constructed from a rigid HDPE core and laser-cut Cordura laminate. The material is IRR treated to help reduce its visibility when viewed through compatible night-vision equipment.
The M05 camouflage pattern is well suited for use with Finnish M05 equipment and other similarly coloured tactical gear.
