Retro Arms CNC Cut-Off Lever, V2 (AR15)
The Retro Arms CNC Cut-Off Lever is a steel replacement part for compatible V2 airsoft gearboxes using a mechanical cut-off system. It works with the sector gear and trigger contacts to interrupt the electrical circuit during semi-automatic fire. Its CNC-machined construction makes it a useful service part when repairing a worn or damaged cut-off mechanism in an AR15-style AEG.
Mechanical Semi-Automatic Cut-Off
During a firing cycle, the sector gear acts on the cut-off lever. The lever lifts the trigger-contact trolley out of engagement so that a new trigger pull is needed for the next semi-automatic shot. Correct interaction between these parts is essential for the intended semi-automatic function.
The steel body provides a wear-resistant working surface at this mechanically loaded part of the gearbox. Replacing a worn lever can address a damaged component, but the trigger contacts, selector plate and sector gear must also be in serviceable condition.
Check the Trigger-System Requirements
The V2 designation describes the gearbox layout; it does not guarantee identical dimensions in every gearbox shell. Check the pivot, spring arrangement and clearance with the actual trigger-contact assembly.
Electronic trigger units can have different requirements for a mechanical cut-off lever. Follow the electronics manufacturer’s instructions and confirm that the selected unit uses this type of lever before purchasing.
