The dampening pads are made of polyurethane rubber (PU) in 70, 80 and 90 Shore hardness, with a maximized impact surface area.
- 70 Sh: for springs up to SP130
- 80 Sh: for springs up to SP160
- 90 Sh: for springs of SP170 or higher
For guns with very high rate of fire or high ammunition capacity (for example machine guns that often fire bursts of more than 100 BBs), we recommend using one step weaker spring than listed above. For example, when used in machine guns, the maximum recommended spring strength for the 70 Sh pad is SP120.
