The DYE i5 paintball mask is the next evolution in paintball eye and face protection. New features such as the GSR Pro Strap and e.VOKE communication system make the i5 the most advanced eye protection in the paintball industry today. The new i5 mask is aggressive, stylish, and lightweight, offering more protection, more ventilation, improved comfort, better sound processing, and enhanced safety—all combined to deliver unmatched performance.
The Tiroidal Horizon 290-degree anti-fog thermal lens provides unparalleled optical clarity and both vertical and horizontal peripheral vision. The new soft-touch multi-layer foam works together with the all-new GSR Pro Strap to give you the most secure and comfortable fit ever seen in paintball goggles. The new e.VOKE paintball innovation allows the installation of an e.VOKE unit into the mask, enabling wireless voice communication between i5 and M2 masks.
Mask Protection v11.5 – The i5 is designed to protect every player at all levels of competition. More protection without compromising style or weight. The i5 v11.5 face mask offers improved coverage while maintaining a tight profile and maximum comfort.
GSR Pro Strap – A major leap in strap design and safety. The GSR adjustment system gives you precise tension control for a secure and comfortable fit. The extra-wide back pad grips the back of your head and distributes tension evenly, ensuring a slip-free fit and maximum comfort. Simply turn the adjustment dial to fine-tune the i5 to your head.
Heads Up POV Mount – Integrated mounting system for POV cameras. The POV mount aligns with your line of sight and allows you to securely and easily attach a camera to the side of the mask.
SCREAM Multi-Directional Venting – With patented technology, the i5’s improved airflow and vent design help heat and moisture dissipate quickly from inside the mask. SCREAM Multi-Directional Venting makes communication with teammates effortless.
Sound Catch – Audio clarity. The i5 ear guards are specifically designed to prevent hearing loss without leaving your ears exposed. Precisely shaped and positioned hole patterns allow sound to pass cleanly through the ear guard without distortion.
Ultralite Construction – Manufactured with high-quality injection molding, the i5 ensures a proper fit and lightweight build. The i5 offers maximum comfort for all face shapes. The mask geometry is carefully designed for long-term comfort while ensuring a secure fit. Engineered to distribute force evenly, providing a soft yet positive fit that doesn’t pinch or cause fatigue.
Soft Touch Multi-Layer Foam – Taking comfort to a new level. DYE’s new Soft Touch foam offers the most comfortable facial fit in the industry. The new high-quality open-cell multi-layer foam provides an ultra-soft feel while maintaining a supportive and secure fit.
Quick Release Foam Kit Replacement – Fast, simple, tool-free foam replacement.
Rapid Lens Change – The i5 features a new low-profile quick-change lens system that allows lens swaps in seconds. Changing the lens is as simple as pressing the retainers, sliding them forward, and removing the lens. Easy, fast, and straightforward.
Anti-Fog Thermal Lens – The i5 features the industry’s first thermal-formed dual-pane lens, delivering perfect vertical and horizontal peripheral vision. Dye thermal lenses set the standard for anti-fog performance. The 290-degree horizontal thermal lenses, made famous by the Dye i4, provide perfect optical clarity and have set the benchmark for visual performance.
Horizon 290 Lens System – DYE’s Horizon 290 lenses offer more peripheral vision than any other paintball mask currently available. Spotting opponent movement is easier, giving you a clear tactical advantage. Combined with our optically correct and durable Tiroidal design, your eyes are protected with exceptional optical clarity. The i5 lens features a premium hard-coat dip that protects both sides from scratches and minor abrasions. Additionally, Dye’s UV hard coating provides outstanding protection against harmful sun rays. The i4 and i5 use the same compatible lens.
Compression Formed Ears – Ear protection is essential, but it doesn’t have to be bulky. The i5 system features compression-formed ear pieces that are soft, flexible, and extremely lightweight. Made from advanced materials, they enhance moisture evaporation while providing full protection and comfort.
ASTM Certified – Sometimes meeting the standard isn’t enough when it comes to safety. The i5 has been tested to withstand impact levels twice as high as current ASTM and CE standards. Compete with confidence knowing your safety comes first.
