Description
APFG MCX SURG GBB is a modern gas-powered airsoft rifle that combines an MCX-style design, an extended SURG front end and powerful blowback recoil. The rifle features a CNC-machined aluminium upper receiver and handguard, an M4-style lower receiver, and a folding, telescopically adjustable stock.
SURG stands for Suppressed Upper Receiver Group. The model's most distinctive feature is the long suppressor-style barrel shroud positioned in front of the M-LOK handguard. Its compact base design and versatile adjustment options make the rifle suitable for regular airsoft games, milsim events and realistic weapon handling training.
Gas-Powered APFG MCX GBB System
The gas blowback system cycles the bolt assembly with every shot and produces clearly noticeable recoil. The rifle's controls operate in the same manner as those of its AR-style counterpart, making magazine changes, cocking and fire mode selection significantly more realistic than with a conventional electric airsoft rifle.
The lower receiver uses a hammer mechanism based on the VFC M4 V3 system. The rifle is compatible with VFC M4- and VMAG-style V2, V3 and V4 gas magazines, providing several options for additional magazines.
CNC-Machined 6061 Aluminium Construction
The rifle's upper receiver and SD-style handguard are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminium alloy. The M-LOK mounting points on the handguard can be used to install accessories such as a foregrip, weapon light, sling mount or other compatible equipment. The Picatinny rail on the upper receiver allows red dot sights, magnifiers and other optical sights to be installed.
SURG-Style Front End
The 11.5-inch outer barrel is surrounded by a long M-LOK handguard and an aluminium SURG SLX-style suppressor replica. The suppressor replica features a heat-shield-style construction, an FDE finish and an individual serial number.
The inside of the suppressor replica is hollow, allowing a compatible tracer unit to be installed. A 14 mm CCW thread adapter is located at the base of the suppressor replica. The maximum tracer unit dimensions are approximately 38 mm in diameter and 125 mm in length.
The rifle features an MCX-style stock that can be folded to the side and adjusted telescopically. Folding the stock reduces the rifle's length for transportation and movement in confined spaces.
