Retro Arms Adjustable Nozzle with O-Ring, 21-23 mm
The Retro Arms Adjustable Nozzle is a CNC-machined AEG nozzle with an adjustable length of 21-23 mm. Its two-piece threaded construction makes it particularly useful for determining the optimal nozzle length when building, repairing or tuning an AEG where a fixed-length nozzle may not provide the correct fit.
The nozzle consists of two precisely machined sections connected by a fine thread. By rotating the sections, the overall nozzle length can be adjusted between 21 and 23 mm, allowing the feeding and air-seal geometry of the gearbox and hop-up unit to be fine-tuned.
Find the correct nozzle length
Nozzle length has a direct effect on how the nozzle interacts with the hop-up unit and magazine feed path. A nozzle that is too long or too short can contribute to feeding problems or an imperfect air seal.
The adjustable design makes this nozzle especially useful as a measuring and setup tool. Once the optimal length has been determined, the measurement can also be used when selecting a fixed-length nozzle for the final build.
Can also be used permanently
The nozzle can also be used as a permanent component once the correct length has been found. Before testing, the threaded connection should be lightly secured so that the setting cannot change unintentionally during operation.
For permanent installation, the manufacturer recommends firmly locking the thread after the final length has been determined. The sealing O-ring should also be properly lubricated before use.
Integrated O-ring seal
A sealing O-ring is pre-installed inside the nozzle. The O-ring helps improve the seal between the nozzle and cylinder head nozzle tube, supporting consistent compression when the components are correctly matched.
