How the service works

Whether you bring your airsoft gun to our store or send it to us, we first assess the work, agree on the price and document the service before starting.

Bring it in or contact us

You can bring your airsoft gun directly to our store, or contact us by email if you need to send it in. For remote service, we will give an initial estimate based on the information you provide whenever possible.

Initial inspection

We inspect the gun, discuss the fault or requested work and create a service record. If the gun has been sent to us and the required work cannot be accurately assessed beforehand, we inspect it again once it arrives.

Baseline testing

Before starting the work, we chronograph the gun and check its current performance. This gives us a clear baseline so we can see how the work affects the gun afterwards.

Price estimate & approval

We always agree on the price before carrying out the work. If we believe the agreed estimate is likely to be exceeded, we contact you before making any additional changes.

Repair, service or upgrade

Once the work has been approved, we carry out the agreed repairs, maintenance or upgrades and replace parts where necessary.

Final testing

After the work is completed, the gun is tested again using an equivalent battery setup and the same BB weight the customer normally uses. The gun is also chronographed again to verify the result.

Specialized work & equipment

For jobs that go beyond routine servicing, we can carry out specialized modifications and diagnose faults using equipment that is not normally found in a basic airsoft workshop.

Specialized work

  • IR-hop and R-hop installations
  • AOE adjustment
  • Gearbox reinforcement and reliability work
  • HPA installations and custom setups
  • Custom electrical installations and wiring
  • Hop-up, barrel and internal tuning
  • Custom modifications and parts fitting

Advanced diagnostics & workshop equipment

Our workshop equipment allows us to investigate faults in detail instead of relying only on trial-and-error part replacement.
  • Oscilloscope-based electrical diagnostics
  • Motor winding and electrical component testing
  • Chronograph and performance testing
  • Precision thread repair equipment
  • 3D printing for custom parts and solutions
  • High-pressure equipment for HPA work

From intermittent electrical faults to individual motor winding problems, we have the equipment to investigate issues that are difficult to diagnose with basic workshop tools.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Find answers to common questions about repairs, maintenance, upgrades and sending your airsoft gun in for service.

How much does a repair or upgrade cost?

Repair and upgrade work is billed at €45 per hour, plus any required spare or upgrade parts. We agree on the expected cost before starting the work. If we believe the agreed estimate is likely to be exceeded, we contact you before carrying out any additional work.

How long does a repair usually take?

The turnaround time depends on the type of work, our current service workload and the availability of any required parts. Simple jobs can usually be completed faster than extensive repairs or custom builds. Contact us if you would like an estimate of the current turnaround time.

Can I send my airsoft gun to you for service?

Yes. If you cannot bring the gun to our store, contact us by email before sending it. Describe the gun, the problem or requested work and any relevant details. We will give you an initial assessment and instructions for sending the gun to us.

What if you discover additional problems during the service?

If we find additional faults or work that would cause the agreed estimate to be exceeded, we contact you before making further changes. We do not simply continue with additional chargeable work without discussing it with you first.

Do you provide a price estimate before starting?

Yes. If you bring the gun to our store, we inspect it with you and agree on an estimated price before the work begins. For guns sent to us, we give an initial estimate whenever possible. If the exact scope of the work cannot be determined until the gun arrives, we inspect it first and confirm the estimate before proceeding.

What types of airsoft guns do you service?

We work on electric, gas, spring and HPA airsoft guns. The exact work we can carry out depends on the model, fault and availability of suitable parts. If you are unsure whether we can service your gun, contact us with the make, model and a description of what you need.

Can you install parts that I already own?

In many cases, yes. Contact us beforehand and tell us which parts you would like installed and which gun they are intended for. We will assess compatibility and whether the installation can be carried out reliably. Customer-supplied parts may require additional fitting or modification.

How do you test the gun after the work is completed?

We chronograph the gun before starting the work to establish its baseline performance. After the repair, service or upgrade is complete, we test it again using an equivalent battery setup and the same BB weight the customer normally uses. The gun is also chronographed again so we can verify how the work affected its performance.

Do you service airguns, paintball guns or T4E guns?

No. Our repair and upgrade service is for airsoft guns only. We do not service or modify airguns, paintball guns or T4E guns.

Do the parts need to be purchased from Atom Airsoft?

No. The parts do not need to be purchased from us. We can also install customer-supplied parts as long as they are compatible with the gun and suitable for the intended use. If fitting or modification is required, this may increase the amount of work needed.
