4UAD 4UANTUM Friction Pro High Performance GBB Bucking
The 4UAD 4UANTUM Friction Pro High Performance GBB Bucking is a 60° hop-up bucking designed for consistent backspin, stable trajectories and accurate shooting in GBB, GBBR and other compatible Tokyo Marui-spec hop-up systems. Its specially shaped single-point contact patch is designed to centre the BB and produce a straight, repeatable axis of spin.
The Friction Pro combines a relatively small contact area with a carefully shaped friction patch. The design reduces the possibility of uneven contact while still providing enough grip to effectively hop heavy BBs up to 0.48 g in a suitable setup.
Consistent and centred backspin
The shape of the contact patch is designed to apply pressure to the BB as centrally as possible. A centred axis of rotation helps reduce unwanted side spin and supports a flatter, more predictable trajectory from shot to shot.
Instead of maximising the size of the contact surface, 4UAD has focused on providing the required friction through the shape of the patch. This helps combine strong hop performance with consistent BB positioning.
Suitable for heavy BBs
The Friction Pro is rated for BB weights up to 0.48 g, although the maximum usable BB weight always depends on the complete hop-up system, hop-up arm, chamber and replica. The design is particularly suitable for setups where heavier BBs are used to improve range and consistency.
Compatibility
The bucking is designed around the commonly used Tokyo Marui-style GBB/VSR specification and is compatible with many GBB pistols, GBB rifles and VSR-style hop-up systems using this type of inner barrel and chamber.
The side locating tab includes pre-made grooves that allow it to be trimmed for certain GBB applications when required. Compatibility should always be checked against the specific inner barrel and hop-up chamber before installation.
