Specna Arms Sten MK.II(S) RETRO AEG Submachine Gun (X-ASR/Tracer)
A steel-bodied AEG replica of the suppressed STEN MK.II(S), equipped with a GATE X-ASR MOSFET and an included tracer unit for illuminated BBs and simulated muzzle flash.
The Specna Arms Sten MK.II(S) RETRO AEG Submachine Gun belongs to the Specna Arms Retro series developed in cooperation with S&T/AGM. The series is aimed at players, collectors and historical re-enactment enthusiasts who appreciate iconic military designs and faithful reproductions of weapons from previous decades.
The historical STEN MK.II(S), also known as the Special Purpose version, was developed for British Special Operations Executive units operating behind enemy lines. It was used not only in Europe but also in the Far East, and the suppressed configuration remained in service well beyond the end of the Second World War.
This Specna Arms replica reproduces the characteristic silhouette of the MK.II(S), combining the simple tubular receiver, side-mounted magazine and skeletal stock with a long detachable suppressor. The result is a highly distinctive airsoft replica that works especially well in Second World War-inspired loadouts, historical demonstrations and themed games.
Steel construction with detachable aluminium suppressor
The main external structure is made from steel. The magazine well, receiver, stock, charging handle, trigger guard and mechanical sights are all manufactured from steel, giving the replica a durable build and a convincing historical feel.
The detachable suppressor is made from aluminium. Beneath the suppressor is the compartment for the battery and the GATE X-ASR MOSFET module, keeping the electrical components concealed while preserving the replica’s clean historical profile.
A fabric suppressor cover is included in the package. It adds visual detail to the replica and helps complete the distinctive Special Purpose appearance.
Included tracer unit
The included tracer unit illuminates compatible fluorescent tracer BBs as they are fired. It also supports a simulated muzzle-flash effect, adding a more dramatic visual element to gameplay.
The effect is especially noticeable in indoor arenas, low-light environments and night games. A USB-C charging cable is included for charging the tracer unit.
The tracer effect requires compatible fluorescent tracer BBs, which are sold separately.
GATE X-ASR MOSFET
The replica is equipped with a factory-installed GATE X-ASR MOSFET. The unit helps protect the electrical system, improves trigger response and reduces the electrical load placed on the mechanical trigger contacts.
Built-in diagnostic LEDs can indicate basic electrical faults. The included GATE X-ASR diagnostic card helps the user interpret the indicator signals during troubleshooting.
Full-automatic AEG performance
The Sten MK.II(S) uses a Version 7 gearbox and provides full-automatic fire. The advertised muzzle velocity is approximately 122 m/s (400 FPS) with a 0.20 g BB.
The adjustable hop-up allows the BB trajectory to be tuned according to the selected BB weight and playing conditions. The replica is fitted with a 330 mm inner barrel.
120-round mid-cap magazine
The included mid-cap magazine holds 120 BBs. It feeds through an internal spring and does not require winding during use. A BB speedloader is included to make filling the magazine easier.
The side-mounted magazine is one of the most recognizable features of the STEN platform and gives the replica a handling style that differs noticeably from conventional rifles and submachine guns.

Note: Battery and charger are not included. A compatible battery with a DEANS / T-connector and a suitable balance charger must be purchased separately. Fluorescent tracer BBs are also required to use the illumination function.
