The FCR is a chest rig style carrier designed to work perfectly on its own or in combination with the Warrior Recon Carrier System (RPC). The FCR base consists of four M4-style double magazine pouches with adjustable retention straps. By adjusting the strap length, the pouches can also accommodate AK-style magazines. In addition to the fixed magazine pouches, the rig includes four fixed utility pouches and one MOLLE-mounted double pistol magazine pouch. Both utility pouches on the sides of the rig can fit an MBITR 148 radio. To keep the radio secure, the side utility pouches feature internal elastic retention straps.
Manufacturer product code: W-EO-FCR-MC
Pouches:
- 4x double magazine pouch (8 magazines)
- 1x double pistol magazine pouch with MOLLE attachment
- 2x small utility pouch
- 2x utility/radio pouch
The special feature of the FCR carrier is its compatibility with Warrior’s next-generation RPC system. You can easily integrate the FCR carrier into the RPC by detaching the shoulder straps and rear strap from the FCR and attaching the remaining panel to the RPC using the corresponding ITW clips and the Velcro panel hidden on the back of the RPC. RPC compatibility allows the carrier to be modified according to operational needs.
Materials used in Warrior products:
Fabric
Warrior uses 500D fabric in its products. Fabric made from 500D fibers offers excellent abrasion and tear resistance. The solution-dyed fibers are naturally stain-resistant and easy to clean.
Threads
The durability of a product built from stitching depends on the quality of the thread used. The main factors that shorten thread lifespan are mold and sunlight. To maximize the lifespan of WAS products, only U.S.-made nylon threads are used, which are protected against UV light and mold damage.
Properties of the fibers used by Warrior:
- Resistance to acids – good
- Resistance to alkalis – good
- Abrasion resistance – excellent
- Heat resistance – 142 °C (maximum continuous heat tolerance before product damage)
- Melting point – 265 °C
MOLLE webbing
The MOLLE webbing on Warrior products is designed to withstand heavy use. The MOLLE straps are rated to handle the following loads:
- 25mm (1 inch) breaking strength: 544kg (1200 lbs)
- 38mm (1.5 inch) breaking strength: 816kg (1800 lbs)
- 50mm (2 inch) breaking strength: 997kg (2200 lbs)
