Warrior Assault Systems Detachable Front Panel MK1 is designed to work with Warrior’s new generation of plate carriers (LPC and RPC series). The DFP-MK1 detachable front panel attaches to the carrier using a large Velcro surface and two vertical clips that ensure the panel stays securely in place even during heavy use.
The DFP-MK1 consists of three magazine pouches, each equipped with an elastic retention loop to keep the magazine in place. The pouches are sized to fit standard M4 magazines (NATO 5.56mm) as well as AK 7.62mm magazines.
The front of the DFP-MK1 features two small utility pouches with Velcro panels on the closure flaps for attaching patches. The center pouch has 5 rows of MOLLE webbing for mounting an additional pouch. Each magazine pouch has two elastic loops on the sides for securing small accessories such as glow sticks, small flashlights, etc., keeping them easily accessible at all times.

Warrior Product Materials:
Fabric
Warrior uses 500D fabric in its products. Fabric made from 500D fibers offers excellent abrasion and tear resistance. The solution-dyed fibers are naturally stain-resistant and easy to clean.
Threads
The durability of a sewn product depends on the quality of the thread used. The main factors that shorten thread lifespan are mold and sunlight. To maximize the lifespan of WAS products, only U.S.-made nylon threads are used, which are protected against UV light and mold damage.
Properties of the fibers used by Warrior:
- Resistance to acids – good
- Resistance to alkalis – good
- Abrasion resistance – excellent
- Heat resistance – 142 °C (maximum continuous heat tolerance before product damage)
- Melting point – 265 °C
MOLLE Webbing
The MOLLE webbing on Warrior products is designed to withstand heavy use. The webbing is rated to handle stress as follows:
- 25mm (1 inch) breaking strength: 544kg (1200 lbs)
- 38mm (1.5 inch) breaking strength: 816kg (1800 lbs)
- 50mm (2 inch) breaking strength: 997kg (1800 lbs)
