LCT TP5 A2 PRO AEG (MP5A2) GATE Aster II
The LCT TP5 A2 PRO AEG combines the classic MP5A2-style design with a full-steel receiver, upgraded internal components and a factory-installed GATE ASTER II Bluetooth® electronic trigger unit. The result is a solidly constructed electric airsoft gun with extensive electronic adjustment options and modern internals.
The 680 mm long TP5 A2 PRO weighs approximately 2.94 kg, giving it a substantial and realistic feel. Its traditional profile makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor games, while the fixed A2-style configuration provides the familiar appearance associated with the classic MP5 platform.
GATE ASTER II Bluetooth® electronic trigger unit
The factory-installed GATE ASTER II Bluetooth® replaces conventional mechanical trigger contacts with an advanced electronic trigger unit. Its integrated Bluetooth connection allows the system to be configured directly through the GATE Control Station application without a separate USB-Link or Blu-Link adapter.
The GCS application provides access to trigger settings, fire-mode configurations, diagnostics, firmware updates and operating statistics. Available ASTER II functions include adjustable trigger sensitivity and reset, automatic pre-cocking, adaptive or manually adjustable active braking and programmable selector configurations.

Full-steel receiver
The receiver is manufactured from steel, giving the replica a robust construction and a substantial feel. The approximately 2.94 kg weight further contributes to the solid handling characteristics expected from an LCT airsoft gun.
The gun does not feature a simulated electric blowback mechanism, so the internal construction remains focused on conventional AEG operation.
TDC metal hop-up chamber
The TP5 A2 PRO is equipped with a metal TDC hop-up chamber. The Top Dead Centre adjustment applies pressure to the hop-up bucking directly from above, helping provide an even contact surface and precise adjustment of the BB trajectory.
The inner barrel is a 225 mm chrome-plated brass barrel. At the muzzle, a standard 14 mm counter-clockwise thread allows the installation of compatible airsoft suppressors, tracer units and other muzzle devices after removing the original muzzle component.
Upgraded compression components
The gearbox uses a chrome-plated brass cylinder together with CNC-machined aluminium alloy cylinder and piston heads. The polymer piston is equipped with a full steel tooth rack for improved durability in the drivetrain.
A steel spring guide with ball bearings allows the spring to rotate as it compresses, helping reduce twisting. The gearbox runs on 9 mm bearings and is driven by a 25,000 rpm DC motor.
Quick-change spring system
The quick-change spring system simplifies replacing the main spring compared with conventional gearbox constructions. This makes it easier to adapt the muzzle velocity to different field limits when a suitable spring is installed.
Battery recommendation
This approximately 344 FPS version has a muzzle velocity of around 105 m/s. According to LCT's battery recommendations, replicas producing less than 110 m/s or 362 FPS should be used with a 7.4 V 20C LiPo battery.
LCT lists an 11.1 V 20C LiPo battery for versions producing more than 110 m/s or 362 FPS. Battery selection should therefore be based on the actual spring and muzzle-velocity configuration of the gun.
