The GATE PicoSSR 3™ AEG MOSFET is the physically smallest MOSFET circuit on the market designed for airsoft electric guns. Its dimensions are only 4x6x21 mm. The PicoSSR 3 offers improved mechanical and electrical performance compared to the previous version. Additionally, the manufacturer guarantees that the PicoSSR 3 can withstand full submersion in water. The unit can be installed in most AEGs and is suitable even for high-power setups (up to M170). The maximum operating voltage is 12.8V.
The MOSFET prevents sparking common in traditional mechanical trigger systems, which can otherwise lead to burnt switch contacts. It also reduces the electrical resistance compared to mechanical switches, allowing the motor to draw more power from the battery. This improved efficiency increases the gun's rate of fire and reduces trigger response time.
The circuit includes a signal wire.
