NFM EC Paint camo paint is built for heavy-duty use! These paints meet the requirements of both professional users and airsoft enthusiasts.
The paints were originally designed for European armed forces. From the start, the requirement was that the paint must be easy to remove from painted surfaces and make painted objects harder to detect in both visible and infrared light spectrums. EC Paint® paints are produced in compliance with European environmental regulations. EC Paint® can be easily removed with a removal spray sold separately, which is also available in our selection.
Warning: Avoid using the removal spray on plastic parts! The spray may damage them.
Below we present some of the technology that makes EC Paint® paints reduce detectability.
Camouflage by breaking up the human silhouette
The human shape is not typical in nature, as the human body is generally very rounded. The human eye easily detects straight lines, angles, and flat areas that are unusual for a human silhouette. With camouflage patterns and EC Paint® camo paints, these easily noticeable shapes can be broken up into more rounded forms, blending better into the environment. EC Paint® paints make this possible for weapons and other gear of all shapes.
Blending into the environment with matching colors
Glossy black objects are not typically found in nature. The EC Paint® camo paint range includes 8 different colors, offering suitable options for all outdoor environments. Surfaces painted with EC Paint® are always matte, eliminating the risk of glare and unwanted reflections that would make the object stand out.
NIR compatibility thanks to Night Vision stealth technology
EC Paint® paints utilize Night Vision stealth technology, which allows the painted surface to absorb infrared radiation. This reduces visibility even when viewed through night vision devices. NIR compatibility means protection against night vision detection, and thanks to this stealth technology, EC Paint® paints are NIR compatible. Additionally, EC Paint® paints are designed to reflect the surrounding terrain’s color, making the painted surface even harder to detect with night vision. Below is an example image taken through a night vision device, showing a painted and an unpainted weapon in darkness.
