The Vector Optics VeWar VWPM-02 is a lightweight aluminium red dot mounting plate designed for Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 and compatible TM-spec airsoft pistols. It replaces the original rear sight and allows red dot sights using the TEK (Docter/Noblex) footprint to be installed without purchasing a separate optics-ready slide. Weighing approximately 9 g, the mount provides a practical way to upgrade a Hi-Capa GBB pistol while keeping additional slide weight to a minimum.

TEK Footprint - Docter/Noblex Compatibility
The VWPM-02 uses the Vector Optics TEK footprint, corresponding to the Docter/Noblex mounting standard. This mounting interface is used by several Vector Optics Frenzy models and other compact reflex sights.

Which Red Dot Sights Are Not Compatible?
Not all Vector Optics Frenzy sights use the same mounting footprint. The VWPM-02 is designed for TEK/Docter-compatible optics and is not directly compatible with the following standards:
- Shield RMSc / SMS - Vector Optics MGT
- Trijicon RMR / SRO - Vector Optics MOJ
- Aimpoint ACRO - Vector Optics VOD
- C-More RTS / STS - Vector Optics GIN
For example, Vector Optics Frenzy-S SCRD-43, SCRD-M43 and SCRD-66 use the smaller MGT footprint and will not fit this mounting plate. The Frenzy FLEX SCRD-36 uses the MOJ/RMR footprint and is also incompatible.
Always check the exact model number and footprint of your red dot sight before purchasing.
Designed for Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 Pistols
The mounting plate replaces the original rear sight on compatible Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 GBB pistol slides. This allows a red dot sight to be installed without replacing the entire slide with an optics-ready version.
The mount is also intended for compatible TM-spec Hi-Capa 5.1 platforms. However, rear sight mounting arrangements can differ between manufacturers and aftermarket slides.
The VWPM-02 is primarily designed for Hi-Capa 5.1 pistols. Compatibility with Hi-Capa 4.3 variants and other rear sight configurations is not guaranteed. Some slide combinations may require fitting or modification. Check the original rear sight mounting arrangement before purchasing.
