Description
VFC AV-105 Tactical GBBR is a modernised AK-105-style gas blowback rifle that combines a steel construction, powerful blowback recoil and versatile accessory mounting options. The model is based on VFC's highly reliable AV-series AK GBBR system.
The compact AK-105 barrel assembly makes the rifle more manoeuvrable than a full-length AK rifle. The Tactical version's CNC-machined handguard, adjustable telescopic stock and improved controls make it suitable for regular airsoft games, milsim events and weapon handling training.
Powerful Gas Blowback System Combined with a Steel Receiver
VFC AV-105 Tactical GBBR is equipped with a CNC-machined, one-piece steel bolt carrier. The blowback system's 22 mm piston cycles the heavy bolt assembly with every shot, producing powerful and clearly noticeable recoil.
The rifle's controls operate in the same manner as those of its AK counterpart. The gas-powered system cycles the bolt with every shot, providing a significantly more realistic operating feel than a conventional electric airsoft rifle.
The receiver and key components of the fire control mechanism are made of steel. The external finish, markings and AK-105-specific details have been designed to provide an authentic appearance.
Modern CNC-Machined M-LOK Handguard
The Tactical version is equipped with a CNC-machined aluminium-alloy handguard designed for VFC AK-74 and AK-100-series gas blowback rifles. The handguard provides sturdy M-LOK and Picatinny mounting points for a wide range of accessories.
The rifle can be fitted with accessories such as a sight, foregrip, weapon light, laser sight or sling mount. The modern rail system makes the rifle considerably easier to customise than an AK model fitted with a traditional handguard.
QRS Fire Selector, Ergonomic Pistol Grip and Adjustable Stock
The rifle features VFC's QRS fire selector designed for its AK series. The extended selector shelf allows the fire mode to be changed using the trigger finger without requiring the shooter to release their grip on the pistol grip.
This design speeds up weapon handling and makes the traditional AK fire selector easier to operate, particularly in fast-paced gameplay situations.
The traditional AK pistol grip has been replaced with a larger ergonomic polymer grip. Its textured surface provides a secure hold and helps the user control the rifle when wearing gloves.
The CNC-machined aluminium telescopic stock allows the length of pull to be adjusted according to the user's size, equipment and playing style. The stock can be shortened for use in confined spaces or extended for a more stable shooting position. The adjustment range also makes the rifle easier to use with thick clothing or a plate carrier.
EZ-HOP System
AV-105 Tactical uses VFC's EZ-HOP system. The hop-up can be adjusted by pulling the bolt slightly to the rear and turning the adjustment wheel on the hop-up unit. Adjustment does not require the front end or any other part of the rifle to be disassembled.
The hop-up unit is designed for easy disassembly. The rifle uses a system compatible with commonly available VSR-10-standard inner barrels and hop-up buckings, providing numerous options for maintenance and performance upgrades.
Lightweight 42-Round Gas Magazine
The rifle includes a 42-round gas magazine. The aluminium-alloy magazine weighs approximately 388 grams, making it significantly lighter than many conventional steel GBBR magazines.
The magazine's gas reservoir has a capacity of approximately 107 cm³. The large gas capacity is designed to support the blowback system's 22 mm piston and provide sufficient gas flow for the heavy bolt assembly.
The magazine features an empty-magazine detection mechanism and an option to enable dry firing. This allows the rifle to be operated without BBs, for example during dry-fire training.
Tracer Unit-Compatible Muzzle Brake
The rifle's aluminium tactical muzzle brake is designed to accommodate standard pistol-sized tracer units. This allows a compact tracer unit to be installed inside the muzzle brake, making it particularly useful for indoor games and low-light conditions.
