PolarStar Inner Barrel Support O-rings, 10-Pack
PolarStar Inner Barrel Support O-rings are 8 × 1.5 mm O-rings intended for stabilising the inner barrel and hop-up assembly. They are installed around the inner barrel directly in front of the hop-up chamber, where they help keep the hop-up assembly pressed consistently towards the gearbox and nozzle.
This method provides a firmer alternative to a conventional hop-up spring and helps prevent the hop-up chamber from moving away from the nozzle during use. Stable positioning can improve nozzle alignment, air seal and shot-to-shot consistency.
The O-rings can be used as replacements for lost original rings or added when more shimming is required. The method is suitable for many HPA builds and can also be used with compatible AEG systems.
Installation
Install the required number of O-rings around the inner barrel and position them directly against the front of the hop-up chamber. The amount used depends on the available space and the required preload in the specific replica.
