The Heretic Labs brand is Wolverine Airsoft’s answer to the demand for extreme HPA speedsoft guns. The Article I is designed purely for performance. Everything unnecessary has been stripped away, making it lightweight and agile without compromising efficiency. The gun is built around a durable yet lightweight MTW CNC-machined aluminum receiver, optimized to meet the needs of speedsoft players. The traditional charging handle, buffer tube, and stock have been removed, and the handguard and barrel have been replaced with a genuine carbon fiber outer barrel. These design choices reduce the weight to just 0.95 kg!
At the heart of the Article I beats the reliable INFERNO Gen 2 HPA unit, paired with an updated electronic control board and a new binary trigger option. The CNC-machined speed trigger features an innovative Delrin bearing system for smooth, ultra-sensitive movement, delivering an incredibly crisp pull and allowing adjustment of pre-travel, over-travel, and trigger break point.
Built on the MTW-Spec platform, the Article I is compatible with countless MTW-Spec and real firearm external parts. This means you can swap the pistol grip for a Magpul MOE grip or install any AR15-compatible handguard or rail system.

MTW Billet Series?
The MTW Billet Series represents the updated MTW lineup. In Billet models, the upper and lower receivers are CNC-machined from a single block of aluminum. CNC machining ensures an excellent fit between the upper and lower receivers. The Billet series also features upgraded electronics and feeding mechanisms, further enhancing reliability and realism. The redesigned feed tube allows for realistic magazine changes without BBs spilling out when swapping magazines.
