Fabric
Warrior uses 500D fabric in its products. Fabric made from 500D fibers offers excellent abrasion and tear resistance. The solution-dyed fibers are naturally stain-resistant and easy to clean.
Threads
The durability of a product built from stitching is determined by the quality of the thread used. The main factors that shorten thread lifespan are mold and sunlight. To ensure the longest possible lifespan for WAS products, only U.S.-made nylon threads are used, which are protected against UV light and mold damage.
Properties of the fibers used by Warrior:
- Resistance to acids – good
- Resistance to alkalis – good
- Abrasion resistance – excellent
- Heat resistance – 142 °C (maximum continuous heat tolerance before product damage)
- Melting point – 265 °C
MOLLE webbing
The MOLLE webbing on Warrior products is designed to withstand heavy use. The MOLLE straps are specified to handle stress as follows:
- 25mm (1 inch) breaking strength: 544kg (1200 lbs)
- 38mm (1.5 inch) breaking strength: 816kg (1800 lbs)
- 50mm (2 inch) breaking strength: 997kg (1800 lbs)
