Retro Arms Tappet Plate Return Spring, Standard (V2/V3)
The Retro Arms Tappet Plate Return Spring is a standard-strength replacement spring for the tappet plate mechanism in compatible V2 and V3 AEG gearboxes. The spring pulls the tappet plate and air nozzle back to their forward position during each firing cycle, making it an important part of reliable feeding and nozzle operation.
This standard version is suitable as a replacement for a worn, damaged or lost tappet plate spring and for gearbox builds where a standard return force is required.
Standard return spring
The spring provides the return force that moves the tappet plate forward after it has been pulled rearward by the sector gear. Correct spring operation helps the air nozzle return consistently to its forward position before each shot.
This is the standard-strength version. Retro Arms also manufactures a separate stronger version for setups where increased tappet plate return force is required.
