The GATE X-ASR2 MOSFET unit is the latest version of the well-known X-ASR. The X-ASR2 differs from the previous model in that it generates less heat while being capable of handling higher loads – including springs up to M150 or stronger. The unit is equipped with two LED indicators that display operational status and signal any errors. Each time the battery is connected, the MOSFET performs a self-test and then indicates readiness for use.
