VFC EVO GBB System with CNC Steel Bolt Carrier
The KS-3 uses VFC's updated EVO AR GBB system, built around a CNC-machined steel bolt carrier. The increased moving mass produces a pronounced recoil impulse, giving each shot a convincing mechanical feel. Steel construction also improves the durability of the bolt assembly under repeated use.
The redesigned bolt carrier features a steel gas key, revised nozzle assembly and an updated internal structure. The nozzle can be removed more easily for maintenance after releasing the retaining components, reducing the amount of disassembly required for servicing.
The lower receiver uses VFC's V3 gas blowback fire control system with a revised steel valve knocker mechanism and steel internal components. These reinforced parts are particularly valuable in a GBBR, where the moving bolt and firing mechanism are subjected to repeated mechanical impacts.

The adjustment mechanism features defined clicks for precise and repeatable adjustments. The hop-up can be adjusted through the ejection port using the EVO adjustment tool or a suitable 2 mm hex key, making trajectory adjustments convenient without extensive disassembly.
The redesigned hop-up assembly also makes maintenance easier. The inner barrel and hop-up bucking can be removed without disassembling the outer barrel or handguard, simplifying routine servicing and future accuracy upgrades.

The KS-3 reproduces the distinctive design of Knight's Armament's compact rifle platform. Its aluminium alloy receiver features licensed markings, while the CNC-machined 11.5-inch outer barrel is paired with a KAC URX6-style aluminium M-LOK handguard.
The slim URX6 handguard provides a rigid mounting platform for compatible M-LOK accessories, while the continuous Picatinny top rail accommodates optics and sighting equipment. The rifle also features KAC-style folding front and rear sights and a steel QDC-style three-prong flash hider.
A six-position buffer tube with a B5-style adjustable stock allows the overall length to be adapted to the player and equipment. The compact CQG-style pistol grip and QD sling mounting points complete the modern KS-series configuration.
Fully Ambidextrous Controls
The KS-3 features ambidextrous controls designed for comfortable operation by both right- and left-handed players. The fire selector, magazine release and bolt catch can be operated from either side of the receiver, while the charging handle provides ambidextrous access.
This arrangement is particularly useful when switching shoulders, operating around cover or using the rifle in confined environments. The controls retain the familiar AR-style layout while offering greater flexibility than conventional single-sided designs.
30-Round VMAG Gas Magazine
The included 30-round VFC VMAG gas magazine maintains the realistic ammunition capacity and magazine handling associated with gas blowback rifles. Its updated bolt catch interface is designed to provide reliable last-round bolt locking.
The magazine also includes a selectable dry-fire function, allowing the blowback mechanism to operate without BBs when desired. This is particularly useful for practising weapon handling and becoming familiar with the rifle's mechanical operation.
