The lower face protector shields the mouth and teeth from BB impacts. A separate lower face protector offers advantages over traditional masks, such as easier aiming with an airsoft gun compared to full masks. It can also be removed during the game without taking off eye protection. This feature is especially appreciated in longer games, where a full mask might interfere with eating or drinking.
