The Maverick Gen.2 is a red dot sight resembling the Aimpoint Micro T-1. The Maverick features 11 brightness adjustment levels, with the first two designed for use with night vision devices.
The Maverick comes with both a high and a low mount for a 20 mm rail (RIS/Picatinny), making it suitable for flat-top M4 platforms as well as submachine guns. The high mount features a quick-detach system, while the low mount uses a screw clamp. Unlike many cheaper optics, this sight has clear, non-tinted lenses. The sight is powered by a CR2032 battery. Included with the Maverick are a rubber lens cover, two mounts, and a microfiber cloth. The main difference between version 2 and version 1 is the slot on the mount: unlike version 1, this one is solid, a feature particularly appreciated in the firearms community.
