Retro Arms CNC Tappet Plate V3, POM
The Retro Arms CNC Tappet Plate V3 is a precision-machined POM tappet plate designed for Version 3 AEG gearboxes. It controls the movement of the air nozzle during the gearbox cycle and provides a precisely manufactured replacement or upgrade part for the feeding and compression system.
Unlike a conventional injection-moulded tappet plate, the Retro Arms version is CNC machined from POM. The manufacturing method allows consistent dimensions and geometry while retaining the properties required from a repeatedly moving gearbox component.
CNC-machined POM construction
The tappet plate is machined from POM, a low-friction engineering plastic well suited to moving gearbox components. Precise machining helps maintain consistent positioning of the air nozzle throughout the firing cycle.
Version 3 gearbox design
This model is designed specifically for Version 3 AEG gearboxes. The tappet plate transfers the movement of the sector gear to the air nozzle, pulling the nozzle rearward for BB feeding and allowing it to return forward before firing.
