The Raizen barrel differs significantly from standard barrels. While Tokyo Marui’s stock barrels are known for their precision, Raizen offers a smaller inner diameter and superior internal surface finish.
Advantages of 6.05 mm Inner Diameter
The 6.05 mm inner diameter provides an ideal balance for many applications. It is neither too tight nor too loose. The barrel is made from high-quality SUS304 stainless steel with a tolerance of ±0.005 mm. Its superior surface finish and smaller inner diameter compared to stock barrels (Tokyo Marui’s original is about 6.08 mm) make the Da Vinci 6.05 mm series an excellent choice for achieving maximum accuracy in all conditions and with various BB qualities. The 6.05 mm barrel leaves a slight clearance between the BB and the inner surface, reducing the chance of the BB contacting the barrel wall. This minimizes friction and lowers the risk of spin distortion as the BB travels through the barrel.
