Retro Arms CNC Tappet Plate V6 (P90), POM
The Retro Arms CNC Tappet Plate V6 is a precision-machined nozzle tappet plate designed for compatible P90 AEGs using a V6 gearbox. Unlike conventional injection-moulded tappet plates, the part is CNC-machined from POM, allowing Retro Arms to maintain a straight and precise geometry while retaining the flexibility required from a tappet plate.
The tappet plate transfers the movement of the sector gear to the nozzle, controlling the nozzle's rearward movement during the feeding cycle. Correct geometry and sufficient flexibility are therefore important for reliable BB feeding and consistent nozzle movement.
Retro Arms specifically uses POM for its tappet plates because the material combines durability with the flexibility required for this application. CNC machining also helps avoid the slight deformation that can occur in injection-moulded parts.
