The Wolverine Airsoft MTW AK-105 Tactical XB brings the legendary MTW performance, reliability and serviceability into an AK-105 platform. This is not simply an HPA engine installed into a standard AK body, but a purpose-built MTW-style system designed around Wolverine’s own engineering, precise alignment and long-term durability.
Externally, the MTW AK-105 keeps the rugged and recognizable AK profile. The authentic stamped steel receiver set gives the rifle a solid and realistic feel, while the AK-105 front end keeps the overall package compact enough for versatile field use. This makes the rifle well suited for players who want the character of an AK, but with the consistency and tuning potential of a premium HPA platform.
At the heart of the rifle is the INFERNO XTS HPA engine. The XTS system builds on Wolverine’s proven INFERNO platform and is designed to offer consistent, efficient and highly tunable performance. Combined with the MTW architecture, the engine sits in a precisely aligned chassis, helping improve reliability, feeding consistency and ease of maintenance.
The BLINC Bluetooth FCU gives the rifle a modern electronic control system. Through the BLINC app, the user can adjust settings such as rate of fire, dwell and burst behavior, save custom profiles and update firmware wirelessly. When paired with a compatible Acetech Bluetooth chronograph, the system can also support automatic dwell tuning. This gives the MTW AK-105 a level of control that is difficult to achieve with traditional mechanical airsoft platforms.
One of the most interesting features of the MTW AK-105 is its programmable magazine capacity and simulated empty magazine detection. The system uses a functional charging handle and detector board to simulate the reload process when the programmed magazine capacity is reached. This brings an additional layer of realism to gameplay and makes the rifle feel more engaging than a basic HPA build.
The rifle also focuses heavily on practical field use. The adjustable hop-up, adjustable trigger and adjustable front sight post allow the rifle to be tuned to the user’s preference. A Picatinny rear sight rail makes it easier to mount optics, while the engineered magwell helps prevent magazine over-travel and supports faster reloads. The stainless steel feed tube and dummy cleaning rod with integrated takedown tool make service and maintenance more straightforward.
The MTW AK-105 is compatible with most AK AEG magazines and offers selected compatibility with MTW-spec, LCT-spec and real steel parts. MTW-spec compatibility includes engines, hop-up body, inner barrel and WRAITH / QUAKE MTW stocks with an adapter line. LCT-spec compatibility includes handguards and selector switches, while selected real steel compatibility includes grips with modification for the air line, milspec buffer tubes and AR-style sling plates.
Please note that the FCU battery and charger are not included in the package unless separately specified. The rifle also requires a separate HPA tank, regulator and air line for operation unless they are included in a separate bundle.

In addition to the replica, you will also need a 7.4V battery with JST connector, a compressed air tank, a Wolverine Airsoft CAT 5 regulator and an air hose. These components are required to make the rifle fully operational.
