Novritsch Open Universal Holster Mk2
The Novritsch Open Universal Holster Mk2 is an open universal airsoft holster system designed to let you use the same holster with multiple different pistols. Instead of enclosing the entire pistol, the holster locks onto a separately available Universal Holster Adapter installed on the replica.
The Mk2 version improves the ergonomics of the original design with a wider opening and an extended release button. This makes it easier to guide the pistol into the holster without looking while keeping the active retention system quick to operate.
One holster for different pistols
The Open Universal Holster system is based around interchangeable pistol adapters. Once the correct adapter is installed on each replica, the same holster can be used with different compatible pistols without changing the entire holster setup on your belt.
The open design also leaves most of the pistol unobstructed, allowing the system to accommodate heavily accessorised pistols and, with suitable adapters, even selected SMGs and pistols fitted with Carbine Kits.
A compatible Universal Holster Adapter is required on the replica and is sold separately.
Active retention
The replica is mechanically retained in the holster until the release button is pressed. The Mk2 version features an extended and higher-positioned release button for easier access and faster drawing.
Improved Mk2 design
Compared with the original version, the Mk2 has a wider entrance to the holster. This provides a more forgiving insertion angle and makes it easier to re-holster the replica without having to look directly at the holster.
Compact open construction
The holster has a small profile and does not wrap around the slide or body of the pistol. This reduces interference with accessories mounted on the replica and keeps the carrying system compact.
Integrated Allen key
A small Allen key is stored inside the holster. Novritsch specifically includes it for convenient hop-up adjustment on compatible replicas.
Compatibility
The holster can be used with compatible replicas fitted with the appropriate Novritsch Universal Holster Adapter. Novritsch lists adapter options for platforms including:

Note: the Novritsch Open Universal Holster Mk2 is not compatible with the Novritsch Belt Clip.
Mounting options
The holster can be combined with compatible Novritsch mounting platforms such as the MOLLE Mount Gen2, Paddle Mount or Drop Leg Platform V2 depending on the desired carrying setup. The mounting platform is selected separately.
