The LCT AK74M 2.0 (LCK-74M) AEG marks a major step forward for LCT’s AK platform. As part of the new AK 2.0 series, this model is not just a refreshed version of a familiar rifle, but a significantly updated high-end AEG built around improved internals, modern electronics and long-term durability.
Externally, the AK74M 2.0 stays true to LCT’s reputation for realistic AK replicas. The full steel receiver, solid construction and folding stock give the rifle the durable, weighty and authentic feel that LCT AK models are known for. With an overall length of 945 mm and a folded length of 705 mm, the rifle offers a full-size AK74M handling experience while still remaining practical for transport and storage.
The biggest difference compared to earlier LCT AK models is found inside. The AK 2.0 system has been redesigned with a stronger focus on modern performance, electronic control and mechanical durability. The rifle comes equipped with a GATE ASTER II Bluetooth ETU, allowing wireless connection to the GATE Control Station app for tuning, diagnostics and performance adjustments.
GATE ASTER II replaces traditional mechanical trigger contacts with an optical sensor-based control system. This gives the rifle a cleaner trigger feel, improved response and access to advanced electronic features. Depending on configuration and firmware, ASTER II can offer trigger sensitivity adjustment, fire mode programming, pre-cocking, active brake, battery protection and diagnostic functions. For the player, this means a rifle that can be tuned more precisely for different play styles, from fast semi-auto use to reliable full-auto performance.
The mechanical side of the AK74M 2.0 has also received serious attention. The rifle is equipped with a reinforced gearbox shell, MIM steel gear set, CNC-machined cylinder head, CNC-machined piston head, CNC-machined air nozzle, steel ball bearing spring guide, 9 mm bearings and a high-speed 35,000 rpm brushless motor. This combination makes the 2.0 series a clear upgrade over older AK AEG designs, especially for players who want both strong factory performance and a more future-proof internal setup.
The rifle features a 455 mm chrome-plated brass inner barrel, rotary POM hop-up chamber and a 130-round magazine. The muzzle has both 14 mm CCW and 24 mm CW threading, giving good compatibility with different muzzle devices. The battery is stored under the top cover, keeping the classic AK profile clean and practical.
