Spring-powered airsoft SVD replicas have some weaknesses in the outer barrel mounting that should be addressed when upgrading SVD-style rifles. These issues are caused by soft manufacturing materials and large tolerances. In addition, the inner barrel is secured with only two screws positioned vertically opposite each other, which makes the barrel and handguard prone to wobbling. When building a precision rifle, it is important to eliminate unnecessary vibrations and movement.
