The AirsoftPro 90° ZERO trigger mechanism, Gen. 5 is finally here. Gen. 5 introduces a completely redesigned construction. Thanks to the new design, this trigger mechanism can now also be used in the M40 (CM.700) model. The steel "spring guide stopper" is now integrated into the trigger mechanism itself. Gen. 5 also brings back the safety lever, which is included in the package, so you can decide whether to install it or not.
When building the perfect airsoft sniper rifle, the most important factors are durability and reliability of the mechanism. These qualities cannot be achieved with trigger mechanisms made partly of plastic or low-quality cast metal; only a mechanism machined from proper material can deliver this level of performance.
The piston locking mechanism in airsoft rifles based on the Marui VSR-10 system has proven poorly designed for upgrading. With a standard stock mechanism, the piston is locked at a 45-degree angle by a sear, which causes the spring to press the piston against the cylinder surface. As a result, when cocking the rifle, friction between the piston and cylinder increases with a stronger spring, making the forward movement of the cylinder heavy during the loading stroke.
The AirsoftPro 90° CNC-machined trigger mechanism solves this problem. It locks the piston at a zero (0) degree angle (zero trigger), allowing the cylinder to move freely even when the rifle is cocked.
