ASG Specna Arms FN Herstal M249 MK1 CORE™ is a licensed electric airsoft machine gun for players who want a support weapon without the extra weight of a traditional M249 model. Featuring FN Herstal markings under Cybergun license, this model combines high magazine capacity, a lighter construction and practical field features.
In line with the CORE™ series, the M249 MK1 CORE™ is designed to offer a functional package in a sensible price range. The polymer body keeps the gun lighter, while metal structural parts add a solid feel in use. The folding steel bipod makes supported shooting positions easier, and the quick-detach barrel adds practicality for maintenance and handling.
The gun comes with an electric 2500 BB box magazine. It is also compatible with AR15/STANAG magazines, allowing the feeding setup to be adapted to the situation. Internally, the gun features an M249-type metal gearbox designed to withstand the sustained full-auto fire typical of support weapons. The ESA™ quick spring change system allows the spring to be changed without disassembling the gearbox.
