Nitecore UI1 USB-C Li-ion Battery Charger
A compact single-slot USB-C charger for rechargeable 3.6 V and 3.7 V cylindrical Li-ion and IMR batteries, with automatic charging control and multiple safety protections.
The Nitecore UI1 is a lightweight and portable charger for a wide range of cylindrical Li-ion and IMR batteries. Its adjustable charging bay supports both compact cells and larger battery formats, including 20700-, 21700- and 26650-size batteries.
Power is supplied through a USB-C input, allowing the charger to be used with a compatible USB adapter, power bank or 5 V solar power source. The maximum charging current is 1000 mA, making the UI1 a practical charger for batteries used in flashlights, optics and other compatible electronic equipment.
Automatic CC/CV charging
The UI1 automatically selects constant-current and constant-voltage charging to suit the installed battery. When the battery is fully charged, the charger terminates the charging process automatically.
If the installed battery voltage is above 2.9 V, the charger uses its standard charging mode with a maximum current of 1000 mA. Batteries below 2.9 V are charged automatically in a low-current mode at 100 mA to reduce stress on the cell.
Over-discharged battery activation
The charger can test and attempt to activate an over-discharged Li-ion battery equipped with a protection circuit before beginning normal charging. Batteries that are damaged, leaking, deformed or cannot be safely activated must not be used.
Clear charging indicators
Three indicator lights provide a simple real-time display of the battery level and charging progress. When charging is complete, all three indicators remain steadily illuminated and the charger automatically stops charging.
Multiple safety protections
The UI1 includes reverse-polarity protection and short-circuit protection. If a battery is installed incorrectly or a short circuit is detected, all three indicators flash to signal an error.
Intelligent thermal protection monitors the charger during operation. If excessive heat is detected, the charger automatically regulates the charging current to help protect both the charger and the battery.
Compact and durable construction
The charger is manufactured from durable, flame-retardant polycarbonate. Its compact dimensions and approximately 40.5 g weight make it easy to carry in an equipment bag, travel kit or outdoor charging setup.
