The Nimrod Blackbird 45K series motors are built from durable materials. The low TPA (Turns Per Armature) of the 45K model provides the motor with an extremely high rotation speed. Thanks to the high RPM, it can also be used in short builds of 0.5 Joules or under 1 Joule. Make sure to control the spring and sector gear to prevent pre-engagement, which can cause piston or sector gear damage.
Nimrod motors feature a cooling port at the bottom of the motor, which improves heat dissipation and reduces the risk of overheating. The CNC-machined end bell made from highly heat-conductive aluminum provides more efficient cooling and a more stable structure compared to traditional motors, improving the durability of the internal bearings, especially in case of gearbox malfunctions. The motor pinion gear is made of steel using MIM technology. The motor shaft and pinion gear are connected with a D-shaped fitting, allowing easy gear replacement without special tools.
