Specna Arms Daniel Defense® RIS III 12.5'' SA-E28 EDGE™ HAL 2™ ETU Gen. 2 is a modern electric airsoft carbine for players who want a well-equipped and easily adjustable package straight out of the box. It combines the practical structural solutions of the Specna Arms EDGE Gen. 2 series with HAL2 electronics, providing a crisp trigger feel and extensive adjustment options directly through a mobile app.
The heart of the gun is the HAL2 Hall sensor-based electronics unit. The Specna Link app, used via Bluetooth connection, allows you to adjust trigger sensitivity, enable pre-cocking, select fire modes, and fine-tune burst length and rate of fire. You can also save different profiles, for example for different game sites or uses, and change settings according to the situation. Built-in protection functions and sensors help keep operation reliable and prevent malfunctions.
Structurally, the Specna Arms Daniel Defense® RIS III 12.5'' SA-E28 EDGE™ HAL 2™ ETU Gen. 2 is designed with both functionality and maintenance in mind. The TDC adjustable hop-up and flat-hop bucking support consistent BB flight and good practical accuracy. The reinforced gearbox shell includes inspection and alignment points that make maintenance and adjustment easier. The QD pistol grip allows tool-free motor access, and the ESA quick spring change system makes changing the muzzle energy fast without opening the gearbox.
Externally, the model stands out with licensed Daniel Defense® markings and a licensed Daniel Defense® M-LOK handguard, offering plenty of options for mounting accessories. The included M-LOK angled grip improves handling straight out of the box. The low-profile flip-up sights mounted on the top rail leave plenty of room for optics. The end of the barrel features a 14 mm CCW thread for installing a tracer unit or suppressor.

Note: HAL2 does not support brushless DC motors.
ESA quick spring change
- Remove the retractable stock by pulling it off the buffer tube.
- Unscrew the buffer tube using a Phillips screwdriver.
- Open the plug located under the buffer tube using an Allen key.
- Replace the spring with a new one.
- Reassemble the stock.
The entire process can comfortably be completed in under two minutes.
