Krytac Barrett REC7 MK3 SBR is a compact and modern AR-15 style airsoft rifle for players who want a high-quality and high-performance electric rifle straight out of the box. Krytac’s updated MK3 version of the Barrett REC7 combines durable and exceptionally well-finished external parts with a strong internal mechanism that also allows the use of more powerful springs. Thanks to its durable internals and compact size, the Krytac REC7 is suitable for both CQB and outdoor games.
The SBR configuration makes this the shortest and most agile version in the REC7 lineup. Its compact length is especially useful in tight spaces, when moving around cover and in fast-paced games where quick sight transitions matter.
High-quality external construction
The REC7 MK3 SBR is built with durability in mind. The upper and lower receivers, outer barrel and buffer tube are made from metal alloy, while the lightweight handguard is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminium. Smaller stress-bearing components, such as takedown pins and QD sling mount points, are machined from steel for added durability.
The external finish is matte, non-reflective and scratch-resistant, giving the rifle a professional appearance and helping it withstand regular field use. The pistol grip, stock and magazine are made from high-quality polymer.
Modern AR-15 ergonomics
The familiar AR-15 receiver layout makes the REC7 MK3 SBR comfortable and intuitive to use. The rifle uses standard AR-15 / M4 style airsoft magazines, offering excellent magazine compatibility.
The 6-position adjustable stock allows the length of pull to be adapted to different players, gear setups and shooting positions. The battery is also housed inside the stock. Ambidextrous controls make the rifle easier to use for both right- and left-handed players, especially in dynamic game situations.
M-LOK handguard and accessory compatibility
The free-float aluminium handguard features M-LOK attachment slots at the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions. A continuous top Picatinny rail runs from the upper receiver to the handguard, offering plenty of space for optics, backup sights and other accessories.
The 14 mm CCW barrel thread allows the installation of compatible suppressors, tracer units and other muzzle devices.
Reinforced Nautilus V2 gearbox
Inside the rifle is Krytac’s reinforced Nautilus V2 gearbox, designed for reliability and consistent performance. The gearbox is Gate Titan ready and features 8 mm bearings, a ported cylinder, a full-metal piston and a torque-focused motor.
The rotary-style hop-up unit provides a stable hop-up effect. Krytac’s new-generation electronic FET system includes active braking, low-voltage protection and a micro-switch electronic trigger, giving the rifle a crisp trigger feel and improved electronic protection.
