In the 1.2J version, the piston stroke has been shortened (short stroke) to achieve lower power while maintaining the ability to deliver high rate of fire. Short stroke allows the use of a stiffer spring while keeping the energy low. A stiff spring enables a short cycle, improving durability at high rates of fire.
