ARCTURUS K9 Custom AEG electric gun is an extremely compact and modern AK-series airsoft rifle. The gun features a short outer barrel and a striking muzzle brake. The front end includes an aluminum M-LOK and RIS compatible handguard. The top and bottom of the handguard feature standard picatinny/RIS rails for mounting sights or vertical grips. The sides of the handguard are equipped with M-LOK compatible slots. On the left side of the receiver, you will find an AK-style side mount for Russian type optics or accessory rails. The stock length is easy to adjust thanks to the M4-style retractable stock system.
The internal mechanism is equipped with a durable version 3 compatible gearbox featuring a quick spring change system. This allows spring swaps without fully disassembling the gearbox. The gun uses a T-plug (Deans) battery connector as standard.
The battery compartment is located under the dust cover and fits AK-style stick batteries or, for example, a Titan Power 7.4V stick battery.
External parts
Most external components on Arcturus AK-series rifles are made of metal. Notably, Arcturus builds its airsoft guns using manufacturing methods similar to the real firearm platform. For example, the receiver, dust cover, safety selector, magazine release latch, and trigger guard are all made from cold-stamped steel sheet, just like the real firearm. The flash hider, outer barrel, and other small components are also made of metal.
All metal parts are protected against corrosion using an industrial coating process. However, drying and oiling the steel parts when needed is recommended to maintain their condition.
