PolarStar Hardware Kit, 3D Printable Split Gearbox, V2
The PolarStar Hardware Kit contains the fasteners and small components required to assemble PolarStar's free 3D-printable V2 split gearbox lower. It is intended for custom HPA and Direct Attachment builds using PolarStar's downloadable gearbox files.
Instead of sourcing screws, threaded inserts, springs and other small hardware individually, this kit provides the specified components required for assembling the printed gearbox lower.
For PolarStar's 3D-printable V2 gearbox
The kit is designed specifically for the free PolarStar V2 Gearbox Lower files. The gearbox parts themselves are not included and must be 3D printed separately.
The compression spring included in the kit is used with the rear pusher piece to keep the HPA engine seated forward in the receiver. Two 5-inch Bullet Valve Leads are also included for routing the HPA air line through the build.

Installation notes
- Heat-set inserts require a soldering iron set to approximately 200-230°C.
- The vertical clamshell holes are correctly sized after printing and do not require drilling.
- The grip screw pilot holes must be drilled with the included #23 drill bit before installing the threaded inserts.
- 3D-printed gearbox components are required and are not included in this hardware kit.
