Specna Arms SA-X01 EDGE 2.0 Submachine Gun
The X-series is Specna Arms’ answer to the growing trend of AR-15-based submachine gun replicas. Thanks to its compact size and excellent build quality, this replica is an ideal choice for CQB games. Additionally, due to its small size, the X-series can also serve as a secondary weapon for a sniper or LMG player.
The SA-X01 airsoft gun is equipped with an adjustable PDW-style stock. It features an M-LOK compatible handguard and a full-length RIS rail on the top, allowing the attachment of various optics. The replica comes with flip-up iron sights mounted on the RIS rail.
Innovative Mechanism
All EDGE 2.0™ replicas come with a factory-installed ASTER MOSFET/microcontroller unit. The MOSFET system was designed and manufactured in cooperation with GATE, a Polish company specializing in advanced electronic solutions for airsoft guns. The ASTER™ V2 module is a cost-effective alternative to the well-known TITAN V2 MOSFET/microcontroller unit. ASTER™ V2 is designed to fit all version 2 gearboxes and works seamlessly with both standard and high-tuned airsoft guns. The ASTER™ V2 unit combines excellent value with GATE’s outstanding user interface. In addition to the factory-installed ASTER, EDGE 2.0™ also includes a 22 TPA high torque motor and the ESA2™ quick spring change system.
The EDGE series replicas feature a 6.03 mm inner barrel and a rotary-style hop-up unit that provides consistent backspin for the BB. This combination ensures excellent accuracy straight out of the box.
The heart of the replica is the ORION gearbox, equipped with the Quick Spring Exchange System. This system allows the user to easily and quickly change the spring to a stronger or weaker one, even in the field, without fully disassembling the replica or opening the gearbox. The spring can be accessed through the buffer tube by removing the end cap. The package includes a factory-installed M120 spring for outdoor games and an additional M90 spring for indoor games.
EDGE 2.0™ models feature an improved ESA2™ quick spring change system, which allows tool-free spring changes.

The ORION gearbox is built around reinforced shells and includes internal components comparable to aftermarket upgrade parts, allowing the use of springs up to M140. Inside the ORION gearbox you will find:
