The Nimrod Blackbird 20K series motors are built from durable materials. The very high TPA (Turns Per Armature) of the 20K model provides a smooth RPM and extremely high torque. This strong torque allows easy tuning with springs of all power levels using the 20K motor.
This motor is perfectly suited for use with high-speed gear ratios and DSG gears.
Nimrod motors feature a cooling port at the bottom of the motor, which improves heat dissipation and reduces the risk of overheating. The CNC-machined end bell made from highly heat-conductive aluminum provides more efficient cooling and a more stable structure compared to traditional motors, enhancing the durability of the internal bearings, especially in case of gearbox malfunctions. The motor pinion gear is made of steel using MIM technology. The motor shaft and pinion gear are connected with a D-shaped fitting, allowing easy gear replacement without special tools.
