V4-generation VMAG gas magazine for VFC AR/M4 and HK416 GBBR rifles, featuring a 30-round capacity and a selectable blank-strike or bolt-catch operating mode.
The VFC M4/HK416 VMAG GBBR Gas Magazine V4 is designed for VFC AR/M4- and HK416-series gas blowback airsoft rifles. Its modern VMAG-style shell gives the magazine a distinctive polymer-magazine appearance, while the tan finish suits earth-tone, camouflage and two-tone rifle configurations.
The magazine holds 30 rounds of 6 mm airsoft BBs, supporting a realistic style of play with controlled fire and regular reloads. It stores both the propellant gas and the BBs required for operation.
Selectable empty-magazine function
The magazine supports selectable blank-strike and bolt-catch modes. Depending on the selected setting, the rifle can either continue dry-firing after the magazine is empty or engage the bolt catch when the last BB has been fired.
This allows the user to choose between uninterrupted dry-fire operation and a more realistic last-round bolt-lock function according to the intended use.
Gas operation
VFC recommends using 12 kg gas or standard Green Gas. Actual performance depends on ambient temperature, gas pressure, firing rate, rifle configuration and the condition of the magazine seals.
As with all gas magazines, colder temperatures can reduce gas efficiency and cycling performance. The magazine should be allowed to return to ambient temperature before repeated filling.
