PolarStar V2 Hop Up Thing Gearbox Lip 0.275" for JACK/F2 - Silver
The PolarStar V2 Hop Up Thing Gearbox Lip 0.275" is a tighter replacement for the standard gearbox lip supplied with the PolarStar Hop Up Thing. The silver 0.275" version is designed specifically for PolarStar JACK and F2 HPA engines.
The gearbox lip supports the nozzle and reduces unwanted sideways movement during feeding. With the correct nozzle alignment, the tighter fit can help reduce mid-cap syndrome, improve loading consistency and support more repeatable hop-up performance.
The 0.275" inner diameter leaves approximately 0.0025" / 0.064 mm of clearance on each side of a compatible JACK or F2 nozzle.
Important
This component reduces nozzle deflection but does not correct nozzle misalignment. If the nozzle is not correctly aligned with the inner-barrel bore, the gearbox or HPA engine position must be adjusted separately.
