Acetech AC5000 Chronograph
The Acetech AC5000 is a compact and easy-to-use chronograph for measuring the performance of airsoft guns. It measures muzzle velocity, rate of fire and muzzle energy, making it a useful tool for checking field limits, adjusting power and monitoring the consistency of an airsoft gun.
The AC5000 features a clear 128 × 64 backlit LCD display and a simple four-way control button. Five ammunition profiles can be saved with different BB weights and diameters, allowing the chronograph to calculate muzzle energy according to the ammunition being used. The device also stores the latest 25 measurement results for comparing velocity and rate of fire.
Measure velocity, energy and rate of fire
The AC5000 measures muzzle velocity from 30 to 400 m/s and rate of fire from 100 to 5000 rounds per minute. In addition to velocity and rate of fire, the display can show calculated muzzle energy in joules and J/cm² when the correct ammunition parameters have been entered.
The 24 mm measuring tube is suitable for several projectile diameters, including 4.5 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm and 18 mm. The infrared measurement system features automatic sensor calibration for consistent operation.
Two power options
The chronograph can be powered by two AA alkaline batteries or from an external Micro-USB power source providing 5 V / 0.5 A.
The Micro-USB connection is only used to power the chronograph and does not charge batteries installed in the device. Acetech recommends using alkaline AA batteries.
