The A&K SNR25 electric sniper rifle is modeled after the SR-25 semi-automatic sniper rifle from the AR10 family. The A&K SR-25's frame, barrel, and RIS foregrip are made of metal, just like its predecessor. The weapon's grip, stock, and rail guards are made of durable plastic.
The A&K SR-25 is a mechanism built around the extended version 2 gear box (V2 long). The extended gear box means a larger cylinder air volume, which allows the gun to be tuned for high power and provides sufficient cylinder volume even for long barrels. As standard, the gear box includes a metal ball-bearing spring guide, steel slide bearings and steel gears.
