The Specna Arms Daniel Defense® RIS III 12.5'' SA-E28 EDGE™ HAL 2™ ETU Gen. 2 is a licensed AEG built for reliable field use. It combines rugged externals with modern electronics for precise control and consistent performance.
Designed in cooperation with EMG Arms, this model carries authentic Daniel Defense® markings and the RIS III handguard. The front end accepts both RIS and M-LOK accessories, so you can mount lights, lasers, and grips as you prefer. Handling is straightforward: a QD pistol grip gives tool-free motor access, an enlarged SF-type stock provides easy battery accommodation, and ambidextrous sling points support a variety of carry setups. Folding sights, an enlarged charging handle, and additional side rails add practical touches for skirmish use.
Internally, the EDGE™ Gen. 2 updates focus on stable, repeatable shots. A precision barrel, sealed aluminum nozzle, Helium™ Flat Hop, and a rotating TDC Magnus hop-up chamber help maintain a steady flight path across typical airsoft distances. The reinforced Ather™ gearbox adds inspection windows, alignment points, and trigger adjustment to simplify tuning and maintenance, while a Nano Coating on the metal barrel helps resist wear. The ESA™ quick-change spring system lets you adapt output to site rules without a full teardown—ideal if you play both indoor and outdoor games.
The integrated HAL2™ system brings granular control over the trigger and firing behavior. Using Bluetooth® Low Energy and the Specna Link™ app (Android/iOS), you can set trigger sensitivity, enable precocking, choose firing modes, adjust burst length and rate of fire, and monitor telemetry and battery status. Profiles make it easy to swap setups between scenarios or players, and onboard safeguards help prevent damage if something goes wrong.
