The Polarstar Foster-compatible filtered QD fitting ensures that your HPA system only receives clean gas, free from particles that could cause leaks or performance issues. The 80-micron filter element removes particles as small as a human hair (0.003"), protecting seals and solenoids. Its conical shape provides a larger surface area compared to a disc filter, ensuring consistent airflow through the filter.
The PolarStar filtered QD fitting is compatible with industry-standard Foster 2-Series fittings, which are also used in PolarStar regulators and air lines. The fitting is made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, and the machined QD body is designed for demanding conditions.
Easy installation and maintenance
The fitting is easily installed by pressing it into a 6 mm nylon tube, used in all PolarStar HPA systems. The same tubing is also used by most other HPA systems. The filter element can be cleaned and reused, and if necessary, it can be easily replaced.
