JeffTron Processor Unit V2 - wired version is a directly gearbox-installed and programmable MOSFET microcontroller. With the V2 version, you get all the features of the JeffTron Processor Unit and a trigger equipped with a micro switch in one package, without the need to install any additional circuit outside the gearbox!
The unit provides new firing modes, rate of fire control, pre-cocking, active braking, and a low-voltage battery warning indicator.
Main Features:
- Five new firing mode options – new combinations of semi, burst, and full-auto
- Adjustable burst fire (factory setting is 3-round burst, adjustable from 1 to 10 rounds)
- Smooth rate of fire adjustment using PWM motor control technology
- Pre-cocking function for instant semi-auto response
- Option for fast semi-auto limit
- MOSFET with active brake for the motor
- Adjustable active brake strength, can also be disabled
- LiPo battery protection: for 2S Li-pol, 3S Li-pol, 3S Li-fe, 3S Li-on, 4S Li-pol, and 4S Li-fe packs
- Monitors current, voltage, and processor component temperature
- Trigger is used for programming; settings are indicated by motor vibration
- Programmed settings are stored in the processor unit’s memory and remain saved even when the battery is disconnected
Fire Modes:
- Safe - Semi – Auto (factory setting)
- Safe - Semi - Semi/Burst/Auto
- Safe - Semi - Semi
- Safe - Semi - Semi/Burst
- Safe - Semi - Semi (delay between shots, motor vibrates when ready to fire)
- Safe - Burst - Burst/Auto
Specifications:
- Wired version, supports max. 1.5 mm² (AWG16) power wires and 0.5 mm² (AWG21) signal wires
- If you are not experienced in soldering wires to a PCB, choose the pre-wired model!
- Designed for up to M180 spring and max. 25 RPS rate of fire. For heavier builds, we recommend the Extreme version! (Installed outside the gearbox!)
- For proper function, the gun must have a working cut-off lever, selector plate, reverse latch, trigger, and safety – the same parts originally found in the gearbox.
- Designed to handle up to 17 V nickel batteries (Ni-xx 8.4V - 14.4V, Li-pol 7.4V - 14.8V, Li-fe 9.9V - 13.2V)
- Idle current draw is only 4.5 mA
- Increases rate of fire and battery life compared to standard wiring
- With active brake, the gun never stays cocked in semi-auto, reducing stress on gearbox parts
- Solves double-shot issues in high-rate-of-fire builds thanks to active braking
- Braking is most effective with high torque motors
- In full-auto, the piston stops in a random position; the brake stops piston movement immediately
