The APFG S-012TN Spear LT 13.1 Carbine is a gas blowback airsoft rifle designed for experienced players who want a stable, versatile and realistic primary weapon. Its longer 13.1-inch front end provides generous mounting space for tactical accessories, while the adjustable stock supports a comfortable shooting position for different users and equipment setups.
The gas blowback system cycles the bolt during firing and produces noticeable recoil and mechanical feedback. Combined with a 30-round magazine, functional controls and selectable semi-automatic and full-automatic fire, the rifle offers an immersive operating experience with handling characteristics suited to open terrain and medium-range engagements.
13.1-inch accessory rail
The extended 13.1-inch rail system provides ample space for compatible lights, grips, aiming devices and other tactical accessories. The longer front end also offers multiple support-hand positions, making it easier to adapt the rifle to different shooting styles and equipment configurations.
The upper assembly combines aluminium, steel and other metal components to create a rigid construction, while nylon parts are used where appropriate to balance durability and overall weight.
Adjustable B5-style stock
The adjustable B5-style stock provides a broad and stable shoulder contact point for controlled handling. Its length can be adapted to the user’s body size, clothing and tactical equipment.
The rifle’s overall length is approximately 750–820 mm depending on the stock position. This makes the carbine longer than the compact SBR versions while still remaining manageable for general-purpose use.
Adjustable hop-up
The adjustable hop-up allows the BB trajectory to be tuned for different BB weights and engagement distances. Correct adjustment helps improve practical range, consistency and accuracy.
For the best results, use clean, high-quality 6 mm airsoft BBs and check the hop-up setting whenever the BB weight or environmental conditions change.
Gas blowback operation
The blowback system moves the bolt during every shot, producing realistic recoil and mechanical movement. The rifle supports safe, semi-automatic and full-automatic firing modes.
As with all gas blowback rifles, cycling performance is affected by gas pressure, ambient temperature, lubrication and the condition of the magazine valves and seals.
30-round gas magazine
The included gas magazine holds 30 BBs. The rifle is compatible with VFC AR-type V2, V3 and V4 gas magazines, providing a wide selection of spare and additional magazine options.
Magazine condition, seal integrity and manufacturing tolerances can affect fit and operation. Valves and seals should be inspected regularly to maintain reliable gas performance.
Recommended gas
The recommended propellant is standard Green Gas with an output of approximately 145 PSI. Actual pressure varies between manufacturers and changes with ambient temperature, so the rifle should always be chronographed using the gas and conditions intended for play.
Higher-pressure Red or Black Gas should only be considered when required by low temperatures and when suitable for the rifle. Excessive pressure, particularly in warm conditions, can accelerate wear or damage internal components and seals.
